We open our doors at both locations at 10:00am. At Oakland location we close at 9pm and at the Downtown location we close at 8pm.
CA state law allows people 21+ to possess up to one ounce of marijuana on hand, but not more than five grams of marijuana concentrate.
All cannabis products sold at Whole Melt Extract come in child-resistant packaging. Please store your cannabis products in a safe, secure location away from children and pets.
Who Can Purchase Cannabis Here? Do I Need a Medical Recommendation?
All adults: 21 years and older. No medical recommendation is needed.
Everyone reacts differently to cannabis. This could be based on your metabolism, method of consumption, and/or dose and potency. We recommend using products at low dosages, and increasing your consumption once you are experienced and understand your tolerance.
It is not legal to consume cannabis in public places or to drive while under the influence. Please respect the law and the communities we operate in; do not consume cannabis products in your vehicles or during your commute to and from Whole Melt Extract.

Our dispensary is located at Downtown Los Angeles.
What are your hours of operation?
Whole Melt Extracts hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 9am-8pm, and Sunday 10am – 7pm.
How old do I need to be, and what type of identification do I need to purchase recreational marijuana?
In order to enter our dispensary and purchase recreational marijuana, you must be 21 or over and have a government-issued ID. Acceptable forms of ID can include a driver’s license, passport, state ID card, or a military ID. In adherence to the CA State Regulations, we cannot accept any temporary form of ID or an ID that is expired.
Is it illegal to drive under the influence of cannabis?
Yes, it is illegal to drive under the influence of cannabis! It is never safe to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of cannabis. It is illegal to operate, navigate, or be in actual physical control of any motor vehicle, aircraft, or motorboat while under the influence of cannabis. Nothing in CA law prevents the arrest or prosecution of an individual for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of cannabis. Anyone who refuses a properly requested test related to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of cannabis can face criminal charges.
What are my limits on purchasing recreational cannabis?
Limits on purchasing recreational cannabis include: adults (21+) with a valid, government-issued ID are able to purchase up to one ounce of cannabis flower or 5 grams of concentrate per day or more.
